Apprentice Mate of Towing Vessels

Towing Vessel Alice Winslow
Although I grew up in Coastal Maine and enjoyed the water, I never thought that I would be working on tugboats. I worked for nearly twenty years in the powerline construction industry, and thought that I would retire there. Then…a good friend offered me some part time work as a deckhand. One job and I was hooked. I left my management job and I have begun anew in the tug and barge industry. Winslow Marine, my employer, specializes in Coastal Towing and Barge Work; we only do a little ship docking, mostly in Bath, Maine.
